Join our Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Analyst. In this role, you will support receivables, collections, and other functions of our finance team. This person will assist with tasks including the annual audit and cash application function. This role will also manage mail sent to our Denver headquarters and depositing checks sent to Lumivero.
Our ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable practices. They can work well with our customers and contribute positively to the Finance team. This person should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products as well as experience with SalesForce, Zuora, and Intacct.
This role is full-time, non-exempt, and hybrid in Denver, CO. This role will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned accounts with past due receivables or those exceeding the credit limit.
  • Contact customers to collect past-due receivables.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of the root cause of collection issues.
  • Assist in managing the Accounts Receivable case queue in Salesforce.
  • Regularly meet with the Accounts Receivable Manager to discuss top delinquent accounts and develop strategies for resolution.
  • Work with Account Managers to resolve collection issues.
  • Assist with the cash application function.
  • Assist in the annual audit.
  • Manage company mail at our headquarters in Denver, CO.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess an understanding of collections and billing processes and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, drive, and initiative.
  • Adept at working under pressure with accuracy, setting priorities, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven ability in following process and direction.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Ability to work onsite one day a week at our offices in Denver, Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of collections experience.
  • Experience with Intacct, Salesforce, and Zuora.

Salary

  • $24 - $31.25 an hour.
