Job Description

This position requires being field-based, and candidates should reside reasonably close to the primary location.

Role Overview:

  • Developing and nurturing strategic business relationships with key accounts' corporate/senior management to enhance representative access, generate new business, optimize resource usage, and boost sales and market share of the designated product.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Federal Account Executive teams to identify and manage key target account opportunities within the VA.
  • Offer strategic guidance on target accounts to regional and district teams in Abbvie's Psychiatry Retail Franchise.
  • Advise sales and marketing management on challenges and possibilities in key target accounts.
  • Analyze channel-specific training needs within the Region.
  • Create annual business plans with defined objectives to enhance sales and market share in target accounts.
  • Assess local opportunities and threats and adapt business plans accordingly.
  • Use financial and quantitative data effectively to evaluate target account opportunities and their business impact.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Managers to penetrate non-retail account drivers within MSAs.
  • Drive growth in target account volume and share through comprehensive analysis and recommendations to District Managers and representatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Strong networking and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
