Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a leading management consulting practice headquartered in Alexandria, VA, is in search of a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to provide crucial support to a potential Federal client in Washington D.C.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Offer information management and data analysis assistance to the Comptroller at NMRC.
- Prepare and assess the Navy's Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS-FL) Status of Funds (SOF) Report weekly for the current fiscal year.
- Analyze monthly Status of Funds Reports on the first Friday of each month for the prior fiscal year.
- Identify budget and funding issues using STARS-FL and other data sources and propose solutions to senior management.
- Support in conducting quarterly reviews to ensure all financial data is up-to-date for the Comptroller.
- Create compelling PowerPoint presentations and data updates.
- Assist in the development of workbook templates and reports for various business plans and financial documents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience with Department of Defense (DoD) audit readiness.
- Understanding of Navy Enterprise Reporting Planning (NERP), STARS-FL, DTS, WAWF, and Government accounting procedures.
