Description of the Position

Join us as a valuable member of the Americas sales team, where you will play a key role in promoting and selling Power Integrations' power semiconductor products. You will primarily focus on the Midwest area of the Americas Region, nurturing relationships with both existing and new customers to boost revenue. A profound understanding of our product range, the PI Expert design software, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that emphasize the value proposition are essential for this role. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be a crucial part of our team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries and support.
  • Cultivate strong connections with key accounts, including engineering and purchasing contacts.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Articulate the features and benefits of PI's products in technical solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of commercial information.
  • Handle customer forecasts, prepare sales reports, and provide territory updates.
  • Offer pre-sales support to ensure customers that our products meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with PI FAE's to submit proposals and design prototype boards for customer programs.
  • Provide post-sales support for product integration and resolving any related issues.
  • Travel extensively to engage with focus customers (approximately 70% of the time).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Business-to-business experience in power electronics, semiconductors, with a focus on power conversion techniques.
  • Knowledge of end equipment applications using control ICs and power semiconductors.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing and EMC equipment.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Highly organized and self-driven.
  • Preference for candidates located in the Plymouth area.

Compensation

Annual base salary of up to $115,000 based on experience.
