Job Summary:

The Region Controller will oversee the internal reporting of financial and performance measures for the Pinkerton Enterprise Clients (PEC) region based on defined business objectives. The Controller assists Pinkerton line managers in the achievement of increased profitability and interpretation of financial data analysis while developing forecasts and budgets and ensuring revenue accuracy and cost management. This position can be based anywhere (remote) within the United States- West Coast.

Essential Functions:

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Partner with all members of Region Managed Services team to advance current and future business objectives. Monitor progress against business objectives throughout the year and provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of financial data to report on progress of the region and its profit centers compared against business plan targets. Direct region financial controls and internal reporting and participate in the development of the annual region business plan and budget. Develop forecasts of revenue and expenses based on current and projected conditions, prepare forecast reports, and submit to senior management. Oversee and coordinates financial programs for funding new and continued operations in order to increase productivity and maximize profitability. Interpret budgets and operating data for line management within the region and advise management on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Provide recurring, and ad-hoc reports as required on financial and performance measures. Analyze and interpret financial and operating data for line management, including performance benchmark reporting, cost analyses, market niche reporting, profitability analyses, performance assessments, contract pricing analyses, wage analyses, and other reporting, as required. Analyze and interpret trends, identify and communicate loss trends, recommend corrective actions to stem immediate shortfalls while addressing long-term profitability issues. Examine records of past and present operations, review historical cost data and prior estimates against realized revenues, and analyze administrative commitments and obligations incurred to project future revenue and expenses. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

MBA and a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible business experience involving financial management or corporate risk management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
