Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Business Analyst to join our team at Connvertex Technologies Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with end-to-end testing, unit testing, and regression testing, as well as documenting and testing controls for new processes.

Additionally, the Payroll Business Analyst will assist with time entry and time adjustment processes, year-end processing, and special projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least 3 years of payroll experience, and proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend new processes to improve performance and efficiency within the payroll function.

As a Payroll Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with end-to-end testing, unit testing, and regression testing
  • Document and test controls for new processes
  • Assist with time entry and time adjustment processes
  • Assist with year-end processing, including 401K validations, W-2 and W-2c preparation
  • Assist with special projects as required
  • Recommend new processes to improve performance and efficiency within the payroll function

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of payroll experience
  • Workday experience required
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Dedicated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent internal customer service
  • Great time management and organization skills
  • Motivated self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
