Responsibilities:

About the role

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and delivery of enterprise-wide HR programs and solutions. The position leads a team responsible for delivering solutions across various HR functional areas such as talent development, leadership development, career development, talent management, employee experience, and onboarding. The role will partner closely with the HR COE on strategy, design and development of HR solutions. In addition, this role will lead enterprise-wide delivery efforts including the development of key metrics and execution of tracking and reporting mechanisms.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure seamless delivery of talent solutions and programs including talent development, leadership development, career development, talent management, employee experience and onboarding initiatives
  • Deliver talent solutions to leaders and individual contributors for professional growth and optimization of organizational performance (ie new employee experience, career development touchpoints)
  • Partner effectively with HR and business leaders to support ongoing strategic initiatives in a facilitation, delivery and program management capacity
  • Support strategic HR initiatives by acting as a resource on talent development projects to drive employee engagement, reduce employee turnover and maximize employee and organizational performance
  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners and HR COE Strategy Team to provide ongoing learning consultation to inform decisions regarding future HR strategic initiatives
  • Recommend methods of improvement and ensure actions are implemented for service delivery upgrade
  • Develop a deep understanding of inflight HR projects to ensure effectiveness of enterprise-wide service delivery
  • Take accountability for service delivery performance and KPIs, meeting/exceeding customer expectations and driving future demand
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to leadership regarding performance of service delivery initiatives
  • Act as a leadership coach and/or mentor to provide guidance to GM Financial leaders
  • Consult with management on leadership matters and support needs analysis to enhance leadership effectiveness and performance
  • Manage training budget
Qualifications:

Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development/Design, Organizational Behavior, Instructional Systems or Training Design & Development required
  • 5+ years professional work experience in Human Resources, with a preferred emphasis in talent development and/or talent management required
  • 2+years leadership experience in Human Resources, with a preferred emphasis in talent development and/or talent management preferred
