THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Strategy and Operations to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our tools team, overseeing the vision and roadmap, and leading the team towards achieving strategic goals.

Additionally, this role will involve contributing to discovery and solution architecture, as well as implementing effective change management strategies.

The Associate Director of Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful execution of our organization's strategic initiatives.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Manage the Tools Team:
Lead and mentor a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Oversee the team's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of projects.
Develop and implement performance metrics to measure team productivity and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the tools team's objectives with the organization's strategic goals.

Vision and Roadmap:
Define and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the tools team, aligning it with the overall business strategy.
Identify and prioritize key initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Continuously evaluate and refine the roadmap based on market trends, customer feedback, and business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the roadmap addresses their needs effectively.

Discovery and Solution Architecture:
Assist in the discovery process by conducting research, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into effective solution architectures.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Provide guidance and support to the tools team in designing and implementing scalable and innovative solutions.

Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies to drive successful adoption of new tools and processes.
Identify potential risks and barriers to change, and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruption.
Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders, ensuring their understanding and buy-in.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful implementation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
8-10 years of experience required.
Proven experience in managing teams and leading strategic initiatives.
Strong background in tools management, solution architecture, and change management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.
