Join Our Team - Engineering Technician Position at TMC Technologies

TMC Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team in supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division located in Indiana.

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to engineers in various areas including production, disposition, and maintenance. An essential requirement for all applicants is to possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance. The selected candidate will be stationed at NSWC Crane, with a unique work schedule involving two weeks of travel followed by one week at Crane, repeated throughout the temporary position from July 8 to September 30, with the potential for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassembly of outdated TACP systems - proficiency with power and handheld tools.
  • Inventory of obsolete components and packaging for shipment back to Crane.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's license for obtaining HMMWV vehicle license.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with colleagues and customers across all technical levels.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, cooperative attitude, and strong work ethics.
