Roofing Sales Development Program

Owens Corning is offering a unique Sales Development Program for aspiring sales professionals in the Roofing business. This structured 18-24-month opportunity aims to recruit outstanding early-career talent and provide hands-on experience within the Inside Sales team. Throughout the program, participants will support a region, collaborate with Area Sales Managers, and lead trainings, customer interactions, and special projects to contribute to the achievement of regional objectives.

As part of the program, individuals will receive coaching and mentorship from sales leadership, with the opportunity to eventually transition into an Area Sales Manager role. The curriculum focuses on developing key sales competencies in areas such as Customer Operations, Consultative Sales Strategy, Territory Management, Pricing Strategy, and Product Expertise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and cultivate customer relationships
  • Educate customers on products & services
  • Engage in professional cold calling
  • Attend industry events and shows
  • Analyze market and customer data
  • Develop marketing programs for promotions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willingness to relocate at program completion

EXPERIENCE

  • Building materials experience preferred
  • Experience in a business-to-business environment a plus
