Overview of the Position:

Join us as our access management project delivery coordinator in Salem and play a key role in shaping the future of Region 2 highway projects. Your expertise in access management will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that drive project success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized access management guidance within project teams.
  • Offer strategic advice on access management for Region 2 projects.
  • Coordinate research and data collection for access management processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to devise comprehensive access management plans.
  • Manage communication with affected parties, including sending closure letters when necessary.
  • Establish agreements with external agencies to implement access management strategies.
  • Present access management solutions at public meetings.
  • Provide technical support for evaluating access requests and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Assist in creating training materials and documents for access management and development.
  • Balancing office work with up to 2 days of fieldwork per week, offering hybrid work options.
  • Regular regional travel, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Fieldwork near high-speed traffic on occasion.

Requirements:

Seven (7) years of civil or transportation-related engineering experience, including 2 years in independent planning and completion roles, or a bachelor's degree in a related field plus four (4) years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Special Qualifications:

A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are essential for this role. Pre-employment driving record checks will be conducted.
