We are seeking a Cashier Customer Service to become an integral part of our team You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.


POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for all Point of Sale transactions (P.O.S) and coffee area. Ability to describe all food stations and offerings provided. Communicate all coffee and food related needs to kitchen and management. Assist in overall clean up and stocking in the dining area per opening and closing procedures. Practices "aggressive hospitality" and shows professionalism with guests, co-workers and management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reports to property on time and in proper uniform.
  • Set-up, organizes, coffee area according to standards.
  • Knowledge of all menu items on buffets.
  • Converses with guests and answers questions regarding all items.
  • Participates in proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Maintains full knowledge of service standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned that include daily inventory for coffeeitems.
  • Performs as food runner and all other duties as necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

STATUS & SCOPE:
This position reports to the Food and Beverage Manager. Requires full
understanding and knowledge of food and beverage standards, ability to
comprehend and communicate in fluent English, outgoing personality. Must have
previous cashier experience and able to operate a P.O.S system in a timely
fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one-year experience as a cashier, buffet attendant or related position
within a restaurant, hotel or conference center operation. Any related, customer
service/oriented experience will be considered.

USE OF EQUIPMENT:

to perform the job.
