Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage the switchboard telephone system effectively.
  • Engage with callers in a friendly and efficient manner, aiming to reduce hold times.
  • Accurately take messages, noting the caller's full name, company (if applicable), time, and message.
  • Assist the Service Manager with various administrative tasks as required.
  • Process cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, recording amounts on repair orders or counter tickets.
  • Provide accurate change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Collaborate with department managers to stay informed about new products and services and any pricing changes.
  • Direct customers with further inquiries to the appropriate service advisor or personnel.
  • Address customer complaints with professionalism and refer them to the right individual for resolution.
  • Issue cash refunds for approved merchandise returns accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Proven exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to multitask and manage multiple phone calls simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
