Responsibilities

  • Monitor project inboxes and draft responses to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with project planners and engineers to simplify complex construction information for social media and E-blasts.
  • Support event planning by developing site maps, managing vendors and contracts, and providing onsite support for public and media-focused events.
  • Update website content regularly, collaborate with web development and graphic design teams, and analyze website analytics for better performance.
  • Create engaging communication products such as speeches, press releases, and digital content that effectively communicate the intricacies of our work.
  • Research and verify information for informational material, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Present materials in a way that enhances the mission and increases brand visibility.
  • Follow agency styles including brand voice, grammar, and punctuation guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced communication activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with proficiency in Spanish.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and write engaging communications for various audiences.
  • Skills in research, analysis, organization, and design of informational material.
  • Knowledge of effective communication techniques and public relations strategies.
  • Ability to build cooperative relationships and work well under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines.
