Public Relations Specialist

Responsibilities
- Monitor project inboxes and draft responses to stakeholders.
- Liaise with project planners and engineers to simplify complex construction information for social media and E-blasts.
- Support event planning by developing site maps, managing vendors and contracts, and providing onsite support for public and media-focused events.
- Update website content regularly, collaborate with web development and graphic design teams, and analyze website analytics for better performance.
- Create engaging communication products such as speeches, press releases, and digital content that effectively communicate the intricacies of our work.
- Research and verify information for informational material, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Present materials in a way that enhances the mission and increases brand visibility.
- Follow agency styles including brand voice, grammar, and punctuation guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced communication activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with proficiency in Spanish.
- Ability to simplify complex information and write engaging communications for various audiences.
- Skills in research, analysis, organization, and design of informational material.
- Knowledge of effective communication techniques and public relations strategies.
- Ability to build cooperative relationships and work well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to meeting deadlines.
