Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Generate and distribute precise customer invoices promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Communicate with clients through various channels to facilitate timely payments.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes professionally.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to customer accounts and transactions.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and offer assistance for financial reporting when necessary.
Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles within manufacturing or related sectors.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
Salary:
$28-$32 per hour
