Job Description

We are hiring a highly experienced Audiovisual Technical Project Manager with a minimum of 10+ years verifiable experience working for AV integration firms. Work schedule will be primarily M-F 7am to 4:00pm based in our San Francisco office. Some travel may be required. Ideal candidate is located near San Francisco.

Responsibilities

The position is a hybrid between project engineer, field service engineer, and project manager. Service is #1 at Young and the ideal candidate will have a "whatever it takes" mentality and willingness to take on and own customer satisfaction.

Experience

Candidates should be experienced with:

  • Complete AV project lifecycle from site walk to close out.
  • Managing CAD and programming resources.
  • Coordinating with Account Manager, Project Manager, GC's and other trades.
  • AV control systems, DSP's, and configuration tools.
  • AV software and hardware.
  • Working with factory technical support to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have certifications, or demonstrate familiarity with

  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), CTS-D, or CTS-I or willingness to get certified.
  • CAD viewers, Visio, D-Tools, Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn new systems.
  • CAD experience a plus.
  • QSC, Shure, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Planar, Vaddio, DANTE/AVB, AVoIP, Zoom, MS Teams.
  • Rigging, hoisting, and seismic requirements (screens, projectors, speakers, cameras).
