Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Audio Visual Services to lead the Digital Workplace AV Services team. This team is responsible for managing and maintaining UCSF's integrated communications, collaboration, and audio-visual systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of UCSF's audio-visual systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide expertise on troubleshooting system issues and serve as the primary point of contact with IT personnel, end-users, and stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of engineers in modernizing UCSF's AV services systems and infrastructure, aligning with the broader IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address AV services needs and innovation opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in audio-visual technology, unified communications, information technology, or network operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of voice and data network systems, strategic planning, and technology assessment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in motivating and inspiring staff to improve the industry alliance program.
