Position: Solder Assembler I

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Precision Soldering: Perform precise soldering of small electronic components onto PCBs, ensuring all connections meet quality and reliability standards.
  • Tool Utilization: Use hand tools such as torque tools, calipers, wire stripping, tinning pots, and microscopes for fine-pitch surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Follow Detailed Instructions: Complete assemblies by following detailed work orders, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Follow safe guidelines for chemical storage and maintain a clean and organized working area.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in soldering and assembly tasks.
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for handling small components and performing delicate operations.
  • Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including work orders, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Physical Ability: Sit or stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks with precision, and handle light lifting, squatting, and bending.
Qualifications:
  • Basic soldering skills are required. Relevant training to meet our stringent J-STD-001 standards will be provided.
  • Electronics Assembler Certification or relevant experience.
  • ITAR - This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), political asylee, or refugee.
