Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Butler Aerospace & Defense. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex electronic and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and assemble electronic and mechanical components, including circuit boards and harnesses.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and mechanical systems, including optical and electromechanical devices.
  • Perform calibration and alignment checks, and make adjustments and modifications as directed.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including soldering irons, wire strippers, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Conduct tests and report data in a prescribed format.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in fabrication environments, including cable and harness.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SMT board fabrication or maintenance of military design products.
  • At least 5 years of soldering experience.
  • Prior certification in solder and harness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to fabricate electrical test equipment designs from blueprints.
  • Ability to read schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual.
  • Ability to communicate issues with design and process requirements to management and design engineers.
