As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in influencing the future direction of the United States Marine Corps' (USMC) strategy for joint all-domain command and control (JADC2). In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with senior USMC officials to design, facilitate, and coordinate initiatives and plans related to JADC2. Your extensive technical knowledge and broad experience in defense and military operations will drive efforts to improve IT operations and bolster national defense capabilities against global rivals.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead with vision and strategic guidance for senior managers and executives, aligning IT operations with overall organizational goals.
- Expert Consultation: Apply your industry insight to evaluate existing organizational structures, identify IT deficiencies, and propose strategic improvements.
- Complex Problem-Solving: Address intricate challenges utilizing advanced technical expertise, applying specialized knowledge to meet complex project needs.

Requirements:
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of post-graduate experience, with a preference for candidates with military background, particularly in USMC or Army Cyber, joint roles, or R&D positions.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of JADC2, zero trust principles, cloud technologies, and application of industry best practices in government settings.
- Security Clearance: Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, high EQ, and the ability to navigate complex political and technical landscapes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in IAT II or III, AI, Agile methodologies (CSM, Agile Practitioner), or similar.
- Retired military professionals with relevant operational and leadership experience.
- Proven history of strategic planning and execution in high-pressure environments.
- Must hold or be eligible for Top Secret clearance with SCI access without waiver upon onboarding.
Security Clearance:
- Required: Top Secret clearance with SCI access or eligibility to obtain SCI access without waiver during onboarding.
Travel Requirement:
- Expected travel up to 25%, potentially including trips to Europe and Africa.
