Associate Director, Stewardship and Donor Relations at School of Medicine - Development


The role of the BUSM Stewardship and Donor Relations Associate Director involves ensuring the proper care of significant donors who generously support the educational and research priorities of the School of Medicine in a prompt and accurate manner.


This position entails close collaboration with the School of Medicine community and colleagues from the Charles River Campus (CRC) to effectively fulfill job duties.


Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing prominent donor appreciation events, liaising with the Dean's Advisory Board (DAB), and supporting prospect cultivation and development administration efforts.


Qualified candidates for this dynamic position must hold a Bachelor's degree along with five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CRM databases are essential. A Master's degree is desirable, as well as experience in utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.


Required Skills


  • 5 years of experience with Intermediate & Advanced skills, Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign (preferred)
  • Experience with CRM databases (required)
