About the Role

The Senior Development Manager plays a pivotal role in Allied Arts OKC's fundraising operations, driving growth through securing new donors and increasing giving from existing ones. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues and senior leadership to develop innovative giving ideas based on research and donor experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Development team to increase giving from new and existing donors
  • Develop and execute personalized stewardship plans to engage and retain donors, including acknowledgment letters, updates on program impact, and invitations to special events
  • Identify and/or strengthen corporate partnerships, including sponsorships for events and workplace giving opportunities
  • Sophisticated prospect research, identification, cultivation, and solicitation skills

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and leverage relationships, inspire, engage, and steward donors
  • Minimum of 3 years fundraising and event experience, with some management experience
  • Demonstrated success record in key aspects of individual fundraising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and maintain positive, collaborative, productive relationships with staff at multiple levels
  • Sound judgment in maintaining confidentiality of donor information
  • Bachelor's Degree

Working Conditions

Working in a team-focused environment with other professionals, employees must regularly be able to detect, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, inspect, estimate, observe, and assess items, information, and objects in an office setting. Teamwork and communications are critical to our success, and employees are regularly required to communicate clearly, in various settings.

Regular business hours are from 8:30 – 5:00 M-F, with occasional off-site events requiring additional time on nights, weekends, and early mornings.
