Duties:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Support clients with medical documentation and record keeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
  • Assist with tube feeding, if necessary
  • Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities or hospice care needs

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program
  • Experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or hospice care needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries

Pay:
$ $45.00 per hour
