As part of our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking an enthusiastic customer-focused Business Banking Services Specialist to join our growing Business Banking team. Be a part of a dynamic team and assist new business clients' journey to open their business accounts. We are passionate about helping businesses grow. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued business banking customers, playing a critical role in their onboarding experience. You'll guide them through the account setup process, answer their questions with clear and concise communication, and troubleshoot any technical hurdles they encounter, laying the foundation for a long-lasting, successful partnership.

Responsibilities:

Be the Champion of Onboarding: You'll own the onboarding process for new business banking customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from start to finish. This includes gathering information, processing applications, setting up accounts, and providing clear explanations of our online and mobile banking platform and services.

Relationship Builder: You'll develop strong relationships with our business banking customers by actively listening to their needs, providing personalized service, and exceeding their expectations. You'll be the conduit to onboarding the customer and engaging the customer with their relationship manager and our lending team.

Problem-Solver: You'll identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, working collaboratively with other departments within the Bank, when needed. In our online and mobile banking environment, you'll be prepared to assist customers with troubleshooting common modern banking issues they may encounter while using our online banking platform, mobile app, or other tools. You'll answer a variety of questions from business banking customers via phone, email, and chat. This may include inquiries about account features, online banking access, transactions, and troubleshooting technical issues they face while navigating our online and mobile platforms. This may involve guiding them through login processes, navigating features, and resolving basic system errors.

Accuracy Matters: You'll ensure all customer data and account information is accurate and up to date, adhering to strict internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services or business-to-business environment.
  • Strong understanding of basic banking principles and financial products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Active listening skills and a genuine desire to help customers succeed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn about new technologies, with a focus on online and mobile banking platforms.
  • Experienced with Online Applications and network applications.
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a focus on building trust and rapport.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
