Position Overview: California State University, Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Dean to oversee the College of Business and Economics. The ideal candidate will lead strategic planning efforts, curriculum development, and student-centered initiatives to enhance academic programs and foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service within the college.
- Provide leadership for academic programs and strategic initiatives
- Support faculty in curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation
- Facilitate class scheduling and oversee advising and career counseling services
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the college community
- Collaborate with university offices to advance initiatives on diversity and inclusion
Qualifications & Experience Required: Successful candidates should hold a PHD in a related field, have experience in leadership roles in academic settings, and demonstrate knowledge of curriculum development and assessment processes. Experience in multicultural environments and cooperative work settings is essential.
Desired Qualifications: Candidates with knowledge of AACSB standards, budget management experience, and a track record of successful leadership in higher education settings are preferred. Experience in collective bargaining environments and working with international programs is a plus.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
Appointment: Administrator III appointment under California State University guidelines for management and supervisory employees.
