Responsibilities:
  • Assess current practices/procedures while complying with local, state, and federal government requirements
  • Following up on remaining open balance issues and ensuring items are resolved within a set amount of time - ensuring communication between other departments on account issues
  • Oversee completion of payment plan customer accounts and closing deposits daily in our system - Bank Reconciliations
  • Lead and develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Developing and adjusting standard operating procedures as company expansion continues across the United States
  • Ensure all deadlines are meant in terms on month-end and year-end procedures to confirm company deadlines are complete according to timeline
Education/Experience:
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • 2+ year of proven management/leadership experience
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrable ability to actively listen and present abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication of achieving results
