Job Description:

The Maintenance Engineer position at Staybridge Suites Omaha West in West Omaha is crucial for maintaining the operations and appearance of the extended stay hotel.

As a key member of the hospitality team, the Maintenance Engineer ensures a comfortable and secure environment for guests and team members.


Role Overview:
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
  • Keep maintenance shop and storage areas organized and clean
  • Inspect and address maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory
  • Assist with special projects and renovations as required
  • Adhere to company and safety policies and procedures
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in hospitality
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Clear background check

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time hourly position with a pay range of $18 to $25 per hour, along with hotel discounts and hiring bonus.
