Position Overview:
The primary goal of this role is to deliver outstanding service to both internal and external guests consistently.

The individual will be tasked with supporting the upkeep of guest accommodations, hallways, housekeeping storage areas, linen closets, and other designated spaces.

This role is dedicated to ensuring that all tasks are executed in accordance with departmental and organizational standards, serving as a representative of Magnolia Hotel Omaha.


Key Responsibilities:
Possess comprehensive knowledge of all services, features, and local attractions to effectively anticipate and address guest inquiries.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability are essential, along with the ability to complete all assigned cleaning tasks; check in with the supervisor for additional duties throughout the shift.

Replenish cleaning carts, housekeeping storage, linen closets, and public areas with necessary supplies and equipment. Maintain thorough knowledge of the proper maintenance and usage of cleaning equipment. Ensure safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping linen and storage areas, and public spaces as assigned (e.g., removing trash and linens, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming carpets and rugs, sweeping and waxing floors, relocating improperly stored items to appropriate areas, etc.).

Adhere to required protocols for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving objects/materials and/or the cleanup of blood, infectious materials, or bodily fluids in compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards. Ensure accurate key control and effective security for all keys, buildings, and vehicles.

Follow established procedures to report any damages or maintenance issues. Manage lost and found items according to departmental and organizational guidelines. Arrive at work punctually and in accordance with the posted schedule.

Qualifications:


A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, or a minimum of six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in a hospitality environment, particularly within a Four Diamond quality establishment, is preferred. The candidate must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in basic English. Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules is essential.
