Join Our Team as a Regional Head of Controlling at G-ECT North America


The Regional Head of Controlling at G-ECT North America has a crucial role in managing the financial performance of ECT in the region, ensuring the GBU meets its financial targets, and providing strategic guidance for growth and profitability. This position serves as the key business partner for controlling on the regional management team.


Keys to Success:

  • Operational Controlling:
    • Lead operational controlling activities, ensuring accurate preparation and documentation of business results and key value drivers
    • Ensure high forecast accuracy for P&L line items, profitability, and steering KPIs
    • Coordinate operational planning processes, communicate effectively across units, and challenge results for the region
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and promote standardization
  • Investment and Strategic Projects:
    • Oversee capital expenditure reporting and budgeting
    • Evaluate large capital expenditures and strategic projects
    • Design financial models, lead M&A projects, and ensure effective reporting and controls
  • Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure compliance and oversee audit requirements
    • Support COA audits and maintain oversight on compliance
  • Leadership in Regional Controlling:
    • Provide guidance and monitor performance of country controlling teams
    • Drive knowledge management and digital upskilling within the controlling community
    • Offer guidance, coaching, and support career growth

Qualifications:

  • University degree in accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Planning & Controlling, Finance & Accounting in an international, multi-cultural environment
  • Proficiency in finance and accounting systems, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities
