Job Title: Specialist, Patient Registration

Job Description Summary:

As the Specialist, Patient Registration, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transition of new patients to Option Care Health services. Your primary goal will be to provide a seamless onboarding experience, ensuring both patients and referral partners find it easy to transition their care.

Job Description:

  • Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and ensure proper care transition.
  • Create, communicate, and collect all necessary documentation for new referrals.
  • Secure upfront payments from patients and assist them in finding suitable payment options when necessary.
  • Support ongoing activities to guarantee clean claims and effective denial management.
  • Collaborate with the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager on special assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of two years of related experience.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Proficient in troubleshoting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Interests:

Previous experience in healthcare or medical billing is a plus.

Salary Range:

$19.19 - $31.99 per hour
