About the Position and Company: This role is based at the Dermalogica Corporate Office in Carson CA - this is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Liaison:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align educational programs with business objectives.
- Design and deliver training programs for Beauty Advisors in Sephora stores.
- Hire and onboard licensed professionals for in-store support at select Sephora locations.
- Coordinate in-field sales and event support.
- Provide training for freelance sales support personnel.
- Manage educational materials database for sales partners.
- Collaborate with Dermalogica National Training Manager for seamless operations.
- Provide educational support for sales market meetings and events.
Training and Development:
- Create compelling training content for Sephora Beauty Advisors.
- Develop interactive training tools for on-floor training.
- Deliver retail training programs for Dermalogica Sephora Account Managers.
- Provide in-person sales and training support for Sephora partners.
- Support Sephora stores for events and promotional activities.
- Create online training content and microlearning videos.
Education and/or Experience:
- Current esthetics license required.
- Experience with on-floor retail operations.
- Prior experience in training in a retail environment such as Sephora.
Internal Candidates:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Dermalogica Instructor.
- Senior Instructor level preferred, but not mandatory.
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in video production for training content.
- Ability to think creatively and be flexible.
- Positive attitude and a desire to support the success of others.
- Drive to foster strong working relationships and teamwork.
Working Conditions:
- Work days may include training on a busy retail floor.
- Flexible schedule with occasional weekends and evenings.
- Up to 70% domestic travel.
