The specialist will leverage the NetSuite platform to enhance productivity and streamline processes across the organization. Responsibilities include managing system upkeep, optimizing functionalities, and troubleshooting issues to foster continuous improvement and team efficiency.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for users, including employees, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Facilitate ongoing testing and updates to support business operations.
- Act as the primary contact for resolving end-user inquiries.
- Lead the creation of financial reports and analytics for the organization.
- Oversee data integration projects related to NetSuite, including the implementation of tools like Power BI.
- Conduct integrity testing for system upgrades and new releases before deployment.
- Engage in hands-on coding for projects as necessary.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, deactivation, and password resets.
- Document business objectives, use cases, requirements, system specifications, workflows, and processes.
- Develop and update user guides and training materials for NetSuite.
- Create reports and saved searches within the NetSuite environment.
- Provide training for both new and existing users as required.
- Assume functional lead or system expert roles in both production and sandbox environments.
- Assist in developing dashboards and operational reports to provide insights for teams and management.
- Support the maintenance of platform testing applications.
- Evaluate current practices and implement effective solutions to meet defined business objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a NetSuite specialist role or a similar position.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient in using and understanding NetSuite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NetSuite ERP workflows and processes.
- Hands-on experience with SuiteScript for backend customization.
- Familiarity with standard business practices in accounting, manufacturing, and warehouse management.
- Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a focus on customer service.
- NetSuite Administrator certification is preferred.
- Skilled in creating saved searches, reports, dashboards, and custom forms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
