Role: Temporary Donor Records Administrator - *Could go permanent based on performance*
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $28/hr 

Location: Midtown Manhattan - 4 days a week on-site, 1 day working from home 

Position Summary:

The Donor Records Administrator plays a crucial role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with donors, ensuring their continued support and satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Database Management:
    • Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Track donor giving history, preferences, and engagement levels.
    • Prepare reports on donor activity and trends.
  • Donor Stewardship:
    • Develop and implement donor stewardship strategies to cultivate and deepen donor relationships.
    • Coordinate donor events, recognition programs, and thank-you initiatives.
    • Provide timely and personalized donor communications.
  • Donor Support:
    • Respond to donor inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist with donor pledge fulfillment and acknowledgment processes.
    • Resolve donor issues and concerns effectively.
  • Gift Processing:
    • Process incoming donations, ensuring accurate recording and acknowledgment.
    • Reconcile donor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on donor activity, fundraising metrics, and donor satisfaction.
    • Analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce).
  • A passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to philanthropy.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
