Job Title: Donor Relations Manager

Union Settlement is seeking a highly skilled Donor Relations Manager to join our Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and assessing our donor relations strategy, supporting the Director of Development in special events, and managing day-to-day donation entries and corresponding donor acknowledgment letters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive donor relations strategy that aligns with our short- and long-term fundraising goals.
  • Support the Director of Development in planning and executing special events, including pre-and post-event planning, donor tracking, and thank you letters.
  • Manage the day-to-day donation entry process, ensuring accurate and timely acknowledgment of donations.
  • Promote planned giving programs through direct mail, newsletters, and other organizational communications.
  • Research and implement new processes to improve database and event tracking efficiency.
  • Establish and manage information-tracking processes to enhance donor relationships and increase contributions.
  • Provide administrative support for development-related tasks, including list management, reports, and coordination with the finance department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience with Salesforce fundraising software.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and writing skills.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable engaging with individual donors and sponsors, with a strong sense of integrity, credibility, and commitment to our mission.
