Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing a donor relations strategy that aligns with our organization\u2019s short- and long-term fundraising goals. You will work closely with our Director of Development to support special events, including pre- and post-event planning, donor tracking, and thank you letters.

In addition, you will manage day-to-day donation entries and corresponding donor acknowledgment letters. You will also promote planned giving programs through direct mail, newsletters, and other organizational publications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of fundraising principles and practices. You will also need to be highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement a donor relations strategy that aligns with the organization\u2019s short- and long-term fundraising goals.
* Support the Director of Development in special events, including pre- and post-event planning, donor tracking, and thank you letters.
* Manage day-to-day donation entries and corresponding donor acknowledgment letters.
* Promote planned giving programs through direct mail, newsletters, and other organizational publications.
* Research and implement new processes for database and event tracking efficiency.
* Establish and manage information-tracking processes for donor acknowledgment, recognition, ongoing communications, and cultivation.
* Provide support for additional development-related administrative tasks, including lists and reports.
* Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate records.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration or related field.
* Experience with Salesforce fundraising software.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong writing skills, including proofreading and editing.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Comfortable engaging with individual donors and sponsors.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
