Position Overview: As a Mortgage Processor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for the bank’s clients during the loan application process. Your primary responsibilities will include effective communication with various stakeholders, from customers and brokers to loan officers and co-workers.
Location: Ballston Lake, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
Hybrid Schedule: After 1 month of onsite training – 3 remote days and 2 in-office days.
Pay Rate: $18-22/HR to start.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers, brokers, and loan officers to gather necessary documentation for loan applications.
- Monitor and update credit reports, appraisals, income documentation, and all verifications to ensure all underwriting conditions are met. Work closely with underwriting to quickly resolve any issues or concerns.
- Review loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with underwriters, appraisers, and other parties to facilitate timely loan approvals.
- Maintain detailed records and update loan status throughout the process.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of mortgage processing experience.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and computer skills.
