Summary

With a proven track record of selling Health, Fitness or Spa into the Hospitality Sector, the successful candidate will be tasked to achieve or exceed set sales targets, with agreed margin guidelines. They will generate and qualify new sales opportunities, maintaining a good and relevant understanding of the Hospitality sector.

Our HSM will be required to create and present, brand specific solutions to our partners and prospects. They will manage and maintain strong relations with existing accounts and our strategic partners, Identifying new opportunities within.

Our HSM will work to achieve set KPIs each month. These are reviewed and managed on a weekly basis. Our HSM will conduct themselves in an efficient, professional and productive manner at all times, representing the Matrix brand to the highest standard.

The role will require a lot of travelling, predominately within the UK.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales target and product mix as agreed with the Head of Sales.
  • Update Head of Sales on market conditions, including the competition and in conjunction with the HOS develop and execute a sales strategy to maximise results and efficiency..
  • Working with the sales support team, ensure the CRM system and all other admin requirements are kept up to date.
  • Compile sales and forecast reports
  • Deliver product training both on the use of products as well a the benefits of the products to the customer’s staff at all sites on a  regular basis on all projects in the JHT range.
  • Attend internal sales meetings and represent the business at trade shows and new product launches as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Math’s and English) – Or equivalent.
  • A qualification in, and/or proven successful track record in sales.
  • A degree in sports science or similar is preferred, though not essential.

Experience and skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skill.
  • Attention to detail and solution focused.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience working within the Hospitality / Spa and Leisure sector
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional selling and presentation skills.
  • Well networked and good knowledge of the industry.
  • Self motivated and determined to succeed.
  • Proficient in MS Office, in particular PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
