Public Works Operations (PW Ops) is seeking a highly motivated applicant to process payroll and human resources (HR) information. Responsibilities include:

  • Process payroll for either the semimonthly or weekly payroll utilizing the City's timekeeping (Kronos) and HR (Munis) softwares and acts as point of contact for employee concerns.
  • Assist with various HR functions including interview and onboarding process.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and reports for management (overtime, leave, inclement weather, etc.).
  • Perform data entry for labor in the City's work order system (Maximo).
  • Train employees on payroll/HR related functions.
  • Perform records retention for PW Ops in accordance with City policy as needed.
  • Provide reception for interviews, meetings, citizens, etc.

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn and utilize the City's timekeeping system (Kronos), Human Resources system (Munis), and work order system (Maximo); ability to maintain confidentiality; and ability to independently research and resolve issues.
