CAD Technician Wanted for Civil 3D Drafting

The City of Chesapeake Human Resources is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team. As a full-time Engineering CADD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality drawings for storm drainage and transportation projects that enhance public safety and quality of life.

We offer an excellent salary range of $46,074 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus an exceptional range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree in computer-aided drafting and design or a closely related field. A minimum of six months of full-time equivalent experience in a related field is also required. An Autodesk AutoCAD certificate is preferred but not necessary.

We are hiring for one full-time position with a regular schedule of 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
