Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location:Prineville, OR

Employment Type: Full-Time(W2 Contract)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school-based setting. The SLPA will collaborate with licensed SLPs, educators, and families to support students' communication and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement therapy goals.
  • Document and report on student progress accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support communication development.
  • Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license/certification.
  • Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
