Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time position in a welcoming and inclusive school setting.
  • Setting: Onsite, providing essential speech therapy services to K-8 students.
  • Focus: Addressing a range of speech and language needs specific to K-8 students.
  • Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students.

What You'll Do:

  • Therapy Services: Deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Manage Caseload: Provide dedicated support to K-8 students with various speech and language requirements.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
  • Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

A Day in the Life:

Begin your day with a warm welcome from students and staff. Mornings involve providing tailored therapy sessions to K-8 students. Lunchtime is for collaborating with teachers and parents on strategies and progress. The afternoon is spent on additional therapy sessions and planning, all focused on student development.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license in Oregon.
  • Experience: School setting experience preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
