SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Document Coordinator position is a key role within our Supply Chain organization that supports service and new product development as a core responsibility. An enthusiastic, meticulous self-starter with a strong drive to develop or improve existing processes and systems is highly desired.  Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities, exceptional multitasking skills and ability to establish positive relationships with suppliers are necessary skills. Accountable for maintaining business processes associated with vendor approval/management documentation collection, data management, and coordination of supply of materials. Key objectives will be timely collection of vendor quality documents, daily management of the TraceGains supplier management system, assistance in integrating a recent acquisition into the TraceGains system, collection of data required for new material introduction and management of the material ordering system for portions of our supply chain.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for gathering and maintaining all FSMA and TraceGains related information.
  2. Work closely with TraceGains to improve effectivity of our system and to integrate a recent acquisition into the TraceGains system.
  3. Work with Procurement colleagues and Product Development to obtain data needed to set up new materials.
  4. Assist in ordering of materials for a portion of our supply chain.
  5. Provide back-up to other members of the Procurement group.
  6. Work with Warehouse and QA teams to request needed documents.
  7. Assist in the maintaining of system parameters.
  8. Responsible for the development and updating of standard work related to this role.
  9. Responsible for development and improvement of current practices through continuous improvement actions.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
