John Tillman, a Bunzl company, is lookingfor an ambitious, safety-minded, and detail-oriented QualityAssurance Technician. This position is responsible for performinginspections on incoming parts and materials used in our products,along with utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensureproper assembly and dimensions. The Technician will ensure thatproduct engineering specifications are met, work closely with theReceiving Department and will perform random inspections onin-house rework.

The Quality AssuranceTechnician will have a key role in the development of the overallsupport and inspection of Tillman products. Along with the qualityinitiatives, this individual will also assist with external,digital communication and product analysis. This position willensure Tillman is conveying a professional, positive, consistentand quality product to both the users and the distributors of ourproducts.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete incoming inspections, first articleinspections and quality review audits
  • Providefeedback and reporting for internal and externalpartners
  • Assist with the approval of annualaudits with regulatory agencies
  • Process andmaintain daily complaint submissions from end users anddistributors, including updates, tracking and resolution
  • Work with a cross-functional team to create CorrectiveAction Reports and Supplier Scorecards
  • Workwith various teams to develop a collaborative process for rollingout sales and marketing initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and take responsibility forinitiatives related to specific products and other assigned actionitems
  • Embrace collaborative, teamwork-baseddecision making

 Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Associate'sdegree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Relatedexperience in a quality-focused position; incoming inspectionpreferred
  • Professional automated testingexperience, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Proficient in test planning and reporting
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products, such as Word,Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excel experience isrequired, including experience using pivot tables andxlookups
  • Self-starter who works wellindependently with minimal instruction
  • Teamplayer who can build long-term relationships within and outside ofthe company
  • Strong time-management skills andan ability to multitask
  • Strong attention todetail with follow through
  • Strong presentationand reporting skills
  • Ability to lift 35 poundswith or without reasonable accommodations
