Quality Assurance Specialist is expected to uphold organization and thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple assignments. The position requires time spent in both the quality office and on the production floor, necessitating the ability to stand for extended periods. Additional hours and occasional weekend shifts may be necessary.

Position Details:

**Full-time opportunity, competitive hourly rate, overtime potential.**

Key Responsibilities:

· Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

· Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) practices

· Basic understanding of inspection measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, pin & ring gauges)

· Perform dimensional inspections of incoming materials (from suppliers and customers), cable assemblies, and machined parts

· Document and initiate first piece inspections based on internal and customer specifications

· Review internal documentation for precision (part finishing sheets, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders)

· Exhibit good manufacturing practices (GMP) to meet quality and company standards

· Collect data on non-conforming materials or assemblies and determine root causes of issues

· Complete and finalize any internal jobs with a comprehensive documentation package

· Ensure effective verbal and written communication across all departments and personnel

· Maintain quality records accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications:

· At least 1 year of experience in a quality department

· Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards is essential

· Capability to lift a minimum of 30lbs

· Willingness to engage with vendors and suppliers

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and calibration is advantageous
