The Opportunity:

On our Responsible AI team, you’ll work to bring AI Ethics research and Governance to life as a Responsible AI ambassador. You will help to implement guardrails and conduct ethical analyses and risk assessments of AI systems and programs, both internally and for government clients. Within this work, you will have the opportunity to expand the team's Responsible AI toolkit by identifying new techniques and tactical sales to address key challenges in the field, contribute to the development of published research on new issues, topics, and discoveries in Responsible AI, and provide project support to internal and external project teams. Use your project management and operations research and analysis expertise to operationalize the practice of Responsible AI across the most important missions our clients face.

You’ll assist with conducting research into the key issues in AI Ethics, Governance, and Safety and putting that research into practice by helping to deliver new solutions. You won’t go at it alone, you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to keep a pulse on the major developments in the broader Responsible AI landscape, comprehend how the research and institutional ecosystem is evolving, conduct your independent research into the latest issues and challenges in Responsible AI, and maintain a comprehensive list of all Responsible AI offices and committees across the government.

You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in a research analytics role, including professionally or academically
  • Experience with Responsible AI, AI Governance, or Technology Ethics
  • Experience in an analyst role, including serving as a business analyst, intelligence analyst, or financial analyst
  • Experience with managing and contributing to high-tempo projects and initiatives
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with conducting or studying risk analysis, including the core Risk Management
  • Experience with framework methodology or Ethical Risk Principles
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with government clients
  • Knowledge of AI/ML
  • Master's degree in Responsible AI, Technology Ethics or Policy, or Philosophy

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
