The Position: The Senior Product Coordinator – Product Owner position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in ISN’s products and services. As a member of ISN’s Product Owner Team, the Senior Product Coordinator – Product Owner facilitates the change management process for updates made to ISNetworld and Empower applications and technologies. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.

Who should apply?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management or similar experience
  • Experience implementing a new feature for a consumer-facing product
  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
  • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and email applications
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the change management process for updates to ISNetworld and Empower applications and environments
    • Research and identify areas of opportunity with a focus on future advancement and expansion of usage for ISNetworld, Empower, and assigned products
    • Prioritize, coordinate, and communicate additional/multiple simultaneous projects for identified improvement opportunities
    • Organize work and release planning to align with Products Management’s goal for consistent incremental delivery
    • Assist Software Engineering team in breaking down work for Sprints, developing project milestones and ensuring roadmap and priority timelines are met
    • Develop User Acceptance Criteria for User Stories with Business Analysts
    • Identify and capture the return on investment (ROI) of projects with Business Analysts
    • Leverage Azure DevOps tools to ensure that bugs and PBIs are prioritized and completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain and grow product expertise
    • Deliver expertise on assigned products/tools, which will be heavy use tools for customers
    • Grow a working knowledge of additional products/tools/features in ISNetworld
    • Lead sprint reviews and product-specific trainings
    • Create and maintain product (Wiki) documentation and process flowcharts/diagrams of Product business rules, history, intentions, and realized return on investment
  • Orchestrate internal activities that ensure all goals are met on time and on budget throughout the development life cycle
    • Coordinate process and/or configuration updates across company (e.g., server updates and environment refreshes)
    • Hold incremental meetings with stakeholder/management to provide updates on project progress and communicate the project status
    • Participate in Usability Group Meetings, Round Tables, ands customer workshops
    • Complete meeting notes critical for applicable stakeholder/project meetings

  • Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
  • Your role on the Products team will have the option to work remotely with at least 1 in-person engagement required weekly.
  • Training: You will have a ~4-week in-person training focusing on ISNetworld functionality followed by LEAD / our PO-specific training virtually. During this time, certain days may be deemed ok for remote learning as directed by the Training Team and Management.
