Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle construction-related loss claims with a primary focus on construction defect claims across multiple jurisdictions
  • Serve as a construction subject matter expert internally and externally with insured and agents
  • Pursue risk transfer opportunities and engage co-carriers and pursuit of proper/favorable cost splits
  • Set accurate reserves and continually review reserve accuracy
  • Monitor and collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and development through the litigation process

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience handling of high complexity, high severity claims
  • Adjudicate highly authority complex claims at the highest authority limits on assignments reflecting the highest degree of technical complexity in liability and litigated claims
  • Construction defect litigation
  • Construction Defect experience
  • Litigation and Mediation Management Experience

Compensation & Benefits

$100,000 to $130,000. Competitive and comprehensive benefits.
