ROLE SUMMARY
This position is integral to the Construction Administration Team, overseeing capital projects funded by the Client from the design phase through to project completion. The Construction Management Specialist collaborates with a dedicated team and reports to a senior project manager, handling multiple significant projects and repair initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes to ensure alignment with Client standards and funding agreements.
2. Conduct site evaluations during construction to effectively manage project progress.
3. Review design documents and budgets for funded projects, providing constructive feedback.
4. Analyze and report on financial aspects, including budgets and cash flow.
5. Assess change order documentation, ensuring compliance with established policies.
6. Ensure adherence to contract stipulations and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
7. Review monthly project updates to track compliance and identify necessary actions.
8. Facilitate project meetings to discuss status, funding agreements, and project deliverables.
9. Approve reimbursement applications and prepare recommendations for final payments.
10. Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing Client processes and best practices in construction.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES
Assist in mentoring junior project management staff and participate in recruitment efforts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Four to seven years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
- Familiarity with construction project administration and compliance monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
