We are s seeking experienced Project / Permit Coordinators in our Springfield, MO community. You will work with our customers to take their solar projects to installation. This position is eligible for great benefits, including paid training, 401k after 6 months, medical, dental, vision, supplemental, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid time off (PTO). We have a great office environment with a lot of teamwork

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Permit Acquisition: Research and identify the required permits for specific projects. Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Communication and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and regulatory authorities. Establish and maintain positive relationships with permitting agencies. Communicate effectively with internal teams to gather necessary information for permit applications.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and organized records of all permits and related documentation. Ensure that all permits are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide support during inspections to verify compliance with permit conditions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with operations and design teams to understand permit requirements for each project. Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for permit submissions and approvals. Alert teams to potential permitting issues and propose solutions.
  • Policy and Regulation Monitoring: Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies that may impact the permitting process. Update internal teams on any new requirements or regulations affecting permits.
Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications

  • MUST BE LOCAL to Springfield, MO or surrounding areas as these roles are onsite at our Springfield, MO headquarters.
  • Proven experience in permit and project coordination or a related role.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to permits and licenses preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for permit tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing regulations.
