With this exciting opportunity, as the Deputy Chief Policy Officer for the Education and International Engagement, this role will allow you to display your exemplary qualities as a leader of change and innovation
You'll supervise the Directors of the Attaché Program, the Global Intellectual Property Academy (GIPA), the Administrative Team, and the Planning, Performance Reporting, and Communications Branch.
You'll provide leadership, direction, and advice to the GIPA Director's management of GIPA's activities.
You'll oversee the management of the IP Attaché Program, including the selection, training, deployment and work of the IP Attachés.
You'll support the Marian Rogers Croak Visiting Scholars Program in intellectual property, innovation, economics, and related fields.
You'll represent OPIA in discussions on budget and procurement matters relating to future year initiatives and yearly operating plan.
You'll analyze budget, facilities, procurement, human capital management, information management and various other program activities related to GIPA's educational and training programs and conferences.
You'll develop tools and measurements to provide information to management on project status, timetables and achievement of objectives.
You'll establish Office of Policy and International Affairs administrative policies.

Overseeing Equal Employment Opportunity policies and program activities.
Advising senior management on proposals and matters that involve significant long-range effects on the programs and/or organization.
Providing leadership in human, financial and technological resources to assure that the program missions are accomplished.
Providing support services for human capital management, budget/finance, procurement, education and training programs, conference, information management, travel, and logistics to all Office of Policy and International Affairs.
